The brand collaborates closely with clients and artisans to deliver pieces that reflect elegance, craftsmanship, and environmental responsibility.

Role Description

Maison de La Palingenèse is seeking proposals from qualified, highly organized, and experienced independent contractors to serve as a Public Relations Coordinator.

The purpose of this contract is to manage, execute, protect, and amplify the brand’s media presence, press relations, and public communication strategy around our collections. The successful contractor will operate as an independent service provider. They will bring their own specialized methodology, media network, and communications systems to streamline our press outreach, front-of-house show logistics, and editorial tracking.

The independent contractor will have full discretion over the specific day-to-day methods used to accomplish the following objectives:

Scope of Services & Objectives

Media Relations & Press Strategy

  • Establish or refine a comprehensive media database targeting top-tier luxury fashion, bridal, and sustainability editors, journalists, and publications.

  • Develop compelling press kits, press releases, brand biographies, and digital lookbook messaging that honor the brand's sustainable couture mission.

  • Act as the primary gatekeeper for all incoming media inquiries, vetting requests to protect brand integrity and manage public messaging.

  • Drafting and pitching the collection’s press release to international editors (e.g., Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, etc.) under strict embargo.

Runway Show & Front-of-House (FOH) Logistics

  • Strategically curate, invite, and manage the guest list process for media and industry professionals for the upcoming runway show.

  • Supervise on-site press operations on the day of the show, including managing the press pit, red carpet/step-and-repeat areas, and post-show backstage media interview access.

Strategic Collaborations & Sample Loan Vetting

  • Instantly coordinating post-show lookbook distribution and managing immediate sample requests for editorial shoots the following morning.

  • Coordinate directly with our Collection & Wardrobe Coordinator to vet, track, and approve high-profile sample loans for celebrity placements, red carpets, and editorial shoots.

  • Identify, pitch, and secure authentic dressing opportunities with public figures, stylists, and digital creators who align with environmental responsibility and luxury craftsmanship.

  • Enforce ironclad security and timing protocols to ensure top-secret, unreleased bridal designs are fiercely protected from leaks prior to their official runway debut.

Independent Contractor Relationship

This engagement is strictly for an independent contractor relationship. The selected provider remains responsible for:

  • Controlling their own work schedules, media tools, pitching methods, and specific communications techniques.

  • Utilizing their own tools, computers, databases, PR distribution software, or specific workflow programs.

  • Handling all personal income tax filings, self-employment taxes, and business operational costs.

  • Maintaining appropriate General Liability insurance to protect business operations while executing services under their supervision.

Independent Contractor Interest Form

The independent Contractor Interest Form and Proposal must be submitted on the same day.

Proposal Submission Requirements

To be considered, candidates must submit their proposals via email by 09 August 2026 at 5:00PM CST to hello@maisondelapalingenese.com. The submission package must include the following information:

Technical Proposal

  • Executive Summary: A brief statement explaining your understanding of the brand's specific communications, media positioning, and sustainable couture storytelling needs.

  • Methodology: A breakdown of your preferred media pitching systems, relationship management tactics, and front-of-house event execution philosophies.

  • Relevant Experience: A portfolio and detailed resume highlighting your history managing PR campaigns, securing top-tier press, and orchestrating fashion/runway events. Both the portfolio and resume files must be saved and submitted in PDF format.

  • References: Contact information for three professional clients who can verify your work quality, media placement success, and trustworthiness.

Financial Proposal

  • Project-Based Flat Rate: Candidates must submit a single, comprehensive flat-fee proposal for the entire scope of the project. This transparent flat rate must encompass all labor, standard business tools, and operational overhead.

  • Deliverable Breakdown: The financial proposal must clearly tie the flat rate to the completion of key milestones or phases (e.g., initial strategy alignment, seasonal collection press kit distribution, runway show front-of-house execution, and post-show press wrapping).

  • Exclusions: Hourly or open-ended rate structures will not be considered. All travel, personal, and miscellaneous expenses are the responsibility of the independent contractor.

Terms & Conditions

  • Right to Reject: Maison de La Palingenèse reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted.

  • Confidentiality: The selected contractor must sign a comprehensive Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to reviewing internal collection inventories, upcoming lookbooks, and high-security wardrobe-related matters.

  • Contract Duration: The initial contract length is 13 months, featuring a mutual 30-Day termination clause for convenience.
