The brand specializes in bridal gowns meticulously crafted with sustainable materials and practices. The brand collaborates closely with clients and artisans to deliver pieces that reflect elegance, craftsmanship, and environmental responsibility.
Role Description Maison de La Palingenèse is seeking proposals from qualified, highly organized, and experienced independent contractors to serve as a Collection & Wardrobe Coordinator.
The purpose of this contract is to manage, catalog, protect, and maintain a collection and wardrobe inventory. The successful contractor will operate as an independent service provider. They will bring their own specialized methodology to streamline our storage, tracking, and styling logistics.

The independent contractor will have full discretion over the specific day-to-day methods used to accomplish the following objectives:
Inventory Management & Archiving
Establish or refine a digital cataloging system for all garments, footwear, and accessories.
Assign individual identifiers (e.g., barcodes, QR codes, or RFID tags) to ensure real-time piece tracking.
Document garment details comprehensively, including high-resolution photographs, designer data, measurements, fabric composition, and condition status reports.
Care & Preservation
Assess the preservation needs of vintage, couture, or delicate high-value archival items.
Coordinate specialist services such as expert dry cleaning, textile restoration, and tailoring.
Implement strict climate, light, and pest controls within storage facilities to guarantee the physical integrity of the entire collection.
Wardrobe Logistics & Styling Support
Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments for photoshoots, exhibitions, loans, and public appearances.
Prepare complete lookbooks and pre-pack garments into organized, labeled travel garment bags for specific talent or events.
Supervise on-site wardrobe setups during productions to handle emergency alterations and ensure proper garment handling.
Setting up individual "model fit racks" with assigned shoes, jewelry, and Polaroid reference photos.
Managing the backstage dressers to ensure models are changed within runway intervals.
This engagement is strictly for an independent contractor relationship. The selected provider remains responsible for:
Controlling their own work schedules, methods, and specific techniques.
Utilizing their own tools, computers, inventory scanners, or specific workflow software.
Handling all personal income tax filings, self-employment taxes, and business operational costs.
Maintaining appropriate General Liability to protect high-value garments while under their supervision.
Proposal Submission Requirements
To be considered, candidates must submit their proposals via email by 09 August 2026 at 5:00PM CST to hello@maisondelapalingenese.com. The submission package must include the following information:
Technical Proposal
Executive Summary: A brief statement explaining your understanding of the collection's specific needs.
Methodology: A breakdown of your preferred inventory systems, archiving tactics, and garment handling philosophies.
Relevant Experience: A portfolio and detailed resume highlighting your history managing and/or presenting garments for a collection/brand. Both the portfolio and resume files must be saved and submitted in PDF format.
References: Contact information for three professional clients who can verify your work quality and trustworthiness.
Financial Proposal
Project-Based Flat Rate: Candidates must submit a single, comprehensive flat-fee proposal for the entire scope of the project. This transparent flat rate must encompass all labor, standard business tools, and operational overhead.
Deliverable Breakdown: The financial proposal must clearly tie the flat rate to the completion of key milestones or phases (e.g., initial cataloging, deployment of the inventory system, ongoing seasonal wardrobe maintenance).
Exclusions: Hourly or open-ended rate structures will not be considered. All travel, personal, and miscellaneous expenses are the responsibility of the independent contractor.
Terms & Conditions
Right to Reject: Maison de La Palingenèse reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted.
Confidentiality: The selected contractor must sign a comprehensive Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to reviewing internal collection of inventories and wardrobe-related matters.
Contract Duration: The initial contract length is 13 months, featuring a mutual 30-Day termination clause for convenience.
