For bridal we offer to paths for custom design: heirloom and conscious. All bridal design is made-to-order: meaning that orders are produced one-by-one, based on the client’s measurements during their consultation.
Our couture process focuses on completely new designs that fixates on sustainability, silhouette, corsetry, fabrications and design concepts, to create works of art that are entirely one-of-a-kind. This involves an intimate design process, and represents the highest level of craftmanship, material, and vision we offer. Pricing is dependent upon project details.
We generally initiate these projects a year prior to the event, and limit to a handful of clients per year, in order to focus creativity and attention for these projects.
Our collection samples consist of our heirloom and conscious designs, which we consider “ready to wear” – and are proud to offer exactly as they have been designed.
We have found great success helping clients style pieces from the collection to create looks that feel unique and rare. Considering that many of our looks consist of a corset and skirt - rather than single-unit gowns – a unique voice can be found within an individualistic approach to the styling. Please consider that amendments can also be addressed during the alterations phase (such as adding straps, shortening hems, adjusting the fit, adding linings, etc.)
Whether you are interested in couture bridal, customized pieces, or shopping from the collection, we encourage a bridal appointment in our maison to begin the process. Please email us at hello@maisondelapalingenese.com with any questions about our work and process.
“For me, the journey of creating a gown is as meaningful as the love story it represents. Because love should leave a lasting impression, not a footprint.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What custom services are available for brides?
We offer custom corsets, mini gowns, and gowns for elopements, engagement parties, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, ceremony, and reception.
Can the exact design from a photo be replicated?
We believe in originality; therefore, we do not recreate replicas of other designs.
How is payment arranged for a custom design?
An estimated project cost will be provided during the initial consultation. Please be advised that any subsequent design changes may incur additional charges. To initiate the project, a 30% non-refundable retainer of the estimated total is required. The remaining balance will be divided into scheduled installments. All payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Stripe, which accepts major debit and credit cards.
What can I do to prepare for my fitting?
We suggest you wear skin-tone underwear for all fittings, and a strapless or low-back bra if you are considering a style that requires it. If you think you may choose a backless dress, it’s a good idea to try stick-on cups or a low-back bodysuit. You may wish to try wearing them for your consultation and fittings to see if you’re comfortable and open to wearing them on the wedding day.
Are video and phone calls permitted during appointments?
Video and phone calls are permitted during fittings; however, some areas are not allowed to be videoed or photographed for privacy reasons.
Where are the designs made?
We’re happy to create in our couture house in the heart of Louisiana.
